Easy Record Software - Installation

1. To install ‘Easy Record Software’ click on <CD Drive>:\setup.exe. Follow the directions on the screen and use default values for the folders etc.
2. Install SQL Anywhere from <CD Drive>:\SQLANY\setup.exe. Follow the directions on the screen and use default values for the folders etc.
3. Follow the following instructions to create a profile as given in the snapshots. Use ODBC Data Source from the control panel to create a new profile using SQL Anywhere 5.0.
4. Start->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Data Sources (ODBC)
5. Click on ‘Add’ button on the following dialog box and then select ‘Sybase SQL Anywhere 5.5’ and click on ‘Finish’ button and follow the screenshot for values.

Data Source Name:        ers

Description:                ers

User ID:                        dba

Password:                sql

Server Name:                Leave as default

Database Name:        Leave it blank it will be filled out by the system.

Database File:                C:\Program Files\KIS Software\db\er.db

(use browse button to select the database file name).

Leave rest of the items as default.

Click on Options Button

Start Command: C:\SQLAny50\Win32\dbeng50.exe -d -c512

Setup of the application is complete.

Run the application:

Click on: Start-> KIS Software ->Easy Record Software
